Local Lib Dem Euro MP welcomes publication of EU treaty referendum question

Local Lib Dem Euro MP Diana Wallis has welcomed the publication of the question for the referendum on the EU Constitutional Treaty.
The Liberal Democrat MEP for Yorkshire and the Humber Diana Wallis, who backs the constitution, said she expected the referendum would come in the first half of next year.
She said that the question looked very neutral and balanced.
"The sooner we get on with this, the better. It is important that we have a rational, informed debate about the UK's relationship with the European Union, something I hope this referendum will provide."
