Commenting on a campaign by Eurosceptic MEPs against European Parliament monies to provide information on the EU Constitutional Treaty, Liberal Democrat MEP, Diana Wallis, said,
"Let's get some perspective into this. The money doesn't even buy one copy of the EU Constitutional Treaty for each public library in the United Kingdom. This gives an indication of just how paltry a sum this is. I think that at the very least each citizen has the right to refer to the document in their local library. In an ideal world, it should be delivered to every household. The Eurosceptic response is frankly pathetic."
