Local Euro MP: Congratulations to Rothwells Fish and Chip Shop

Doncaster's Lib Dem Euro MP Diana Wallis:
"Congratulations to Rothwells fish and chip shop in Doncaster having made it through as one of only twenty fish and chip shops nationwide in the National Fish and Chip Shop of the Year competition. It means that Rothwells is considered by the judges to be the best 'chippy' in the Yorkshire region. My best wishes to them in the final."
"This is very good news for Doncaster too as it presents a positive image of the town nationwide and indeed worldwide."
The national winner will be announced in London on 1 February 2006.
