Diana interviewed by the BBC on Petitions

Last week, Diana was interviewed for the BBC's 'The Record - Europe' programme on the work of the European Parliament's Petitions Committee.

Diana has been a member of the Petitions Committee for the past two and a half years and is a strong supporter of the work the Committee does on behalf of people across the EU.

Diana said: "The work we do in the European Parliament is in stark contrast to the way petitions are dealt with at Westminster where they seem to disappear into a black hole. In the European Parliament we have a formal procedure which very often achieves tangible results for those we represent."
