Diana speaks to Hull U3A group

Diana Wallis MEP, right, enjoying a cup of tea with members of Hull U3ALocal Liberal Democrat Euro MP, Diana Wallis, spoke to the Hull group of the University of the Third Age (U3A) at the Portobello Methodist Church on Holderness Road recently.

Speaking to a group of about 40 people she described her work as a Member of the European Parliament and as the first British woman to be elected a Vice President of the Parliament.

The Hull U3A is looking to expand it s membership and anybody intetsted in joining the group should contact Stuart Richardson below.

Note: U3As are self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operatives for older people no longer in full time work, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun. www.u3a.org.uk
