Colin Ross
Cllr Colin Ross has been a Liberal/Liberal Democrat member since 1983. He has been a Sheffield City Councillor since 1994, stood for the European Parliament in 1999 and stood in Doncaster North in the 2001 General Election.
"I was part of a very successful Lib Dem team in Yorkshire & the Humber at the last European elections," says Colin. " I believe that this team we can do even better and elect more Lib Dem MEPs."
"I am committed to the ideals of the European Union but recognise that the institutions and policies need to be reformed. Being pro-European does not mean being blind to the EU's limitations and faults."
As well as being a senior city councillor, Colin is also a full time teacher at a Rotherham sixth form college.
